Climbing to nearly 6,000 metres (19,500 feet) is a formidable challenge – a test of physical fitness and, above all, mental toughness. Exhaustion, cold and altitude sickness are a constant threat.
But, with good planning and support and physical fitness, and, above all, a qualified, licensed, official guide, YOU CAN MAKE IT.
You don’t have to be Superman or Superwoman. For example, in February 2012, I successfully led six men from England – average age 66, eldest 73 – to the summit.

We take our clients’ health very seriously. All water used for drinking is boiled or treated. We also provide daily medical examinations. In the morning we check oxygen saturation, pulse and lungs. In the evening, we check oxygen saturation and pulse.
You will be camping. But my team of porters – many of them my Malisa kin – carry the tents, food and other essential supplies. All you need is a day sack with key items, e.g. drinking water and waterproof clothing.
My cooking team will ensure you are given enough of the right sort of food – and enough of it – to make it to the top.
